Living Contentedly is a retired professor of Russian language and literature who has also taught comparative literature, German, and Russian philosophical and theological thought. In the last ten years he has lived in California, Costa Rica, and currently in Tennessee.

In January, 2012 he will be 74 years old, truly a senior. At this point in his life he understands that living contentedly is perhaps the most important thing a person can do in order to have a happy life and to make the lives of those who matter to him happy as well.

His only regret is that it has taken him so long to come to this fundamental understanding of what makes life worthwhile.
